Head'em up! Mov'em out!

The NTCOE RUG Has Hit the Trail, and We're Taking the Lead!

Are you tired of eating the dust of your competitors on the "Digital Technology Trail"? Here is your opportunity to join up with a group of trailblazers, get out of the dust, and take the lead. Get a breath of fresh, clean, clear, air. Get a clearer vision for where your head'n on the ol' "DT trail." Come join us for presentations and discussion of where the water'n holes are, and how to avoid the quicksand.

The NTCOE RUG (North Texas CATIA Operators Exchange Regional Users Group) has hit the trail. The NTCOE RUG will hold their first conference meeting on Friday, January 25, 2002. Tarrant County College is hosting the RUG at their South campus in south Fort Worth at Campus Drive and Interstate 20, in the Rotunda Building. The meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break (sorry, lunch is on you).

We have several interesting topics to chew on. Alex Sanchez of IBM will be giving a presentation on ENOVIA LCA, Johnny Hicks of IBM will provide a presentation on Knowledgeware, several local educational institutions associated with IBM's HEAT (Higher Education And Training) program will be presenting, Rob Klein of DELMIA will host a presentation on generative planning, and representatives of several local RUG member companies will present the status of their trip up the DT Trail and the issues they see, particularly, transitioning from CATIA V4 to V5.

In addition to these presentations, there will also be a business meeting, during part of which, we will elect officers for the RUG governing committee. We will also be giving a nice gift to the winner of the RUG name contest.

So, mark your calendar and plan to join us on Friday, January 25, at Tarrant County College.
